  Wish I could give it a zero! Was completely disappointed when I bought a pair of Bongos that would not become tuned, they didn't even look professional enough to not call it a children's toy. They (he mostly) were trying to charge a ridiculous amount for the quality of the drum. After tuning the drum a couple times (completely loosening the skin from the base) I noticed that I just might have gotten hustled. I immediately took the drum back down to the store and demanded my full refund, the man would then try to detour me from getting my money back by suggesting another bongo, they all were the same style and he now is agreeing to give me an even exchange for the only other drum style he had (instead of charging me any difference that he claimed there was between the two kinds just the day before). Shadddddy huh? Then his boss (lady) came in and we went thru the same song and dance again... They also demanded my receipt, which I never received upon purchase, (so make sure you get one) then finally after five minutes on necessary explanations and a lecture to her employee while I was standing there, the full refund was given to me and since the gentlemen continued to talk irrationally and unprofessionally (in front of children, students) I told him I would leave this review. Save your money, go to Rupp's if it's a drum you're after, it's right down the street and they are much nicer and professional, or else your kids might come back with an astonishing colorful lyric or two they picked up from this musical teacher. Scammary is the art he teaches apparently. Cheers.

  Verey bad service he dont know what he is dowing becare full whit your insterments and he is a rip off scam artist

We need to do all we can to support Jerry as he provides personal service that you just don't find in other music stores.

  Guys, we need to support music stores like this one. The corporate giants like GC can sometimes beat the price, but that is where their qualities end. At Sky Music, Jerry will work with you and give you an honest good deal. Here is the bast part. At GC, they the guitar out of the box and hand it to you and wish you luck. Jerry will ask you if he can have it for a day to fine tune the set up. He will also take care of you after that with setup. You can buy a guitar from him that is not nearly as expensive of a model from GC and because of his setup, you are geting a fine guitar. Jerry is a musician himself that plays multiple insturments, he also repairs instruments. Becuase of this, he can get you into something nice within your budget. Finally, if your kid needs lessons, consider this place as well. Conscusion, you might not save the pennies that you will at Guitar Center, but you will help keep alive the concept of a music store that cares about music and you.

  Decent prices for a smaller shop. The guy that works there is awesome and not pushy at all.
