::I'm not even sure where to start here. Firstly, it took us multiple weeks of calling and walking into their "appointment only" showroom just to get someone to talk to us. We finally set an appointment to talk about what we're needing done in our kitchen, it takes almost two weeks just to get our quote back after calling multiple times and having to threaten taking our business to Cincinnati MULTIPLE times (which I'm still wishing we followed through on). THEN, it was 6 more weeks until install and delivery, which they didn't tell us were actually different dates, when we reached out to our consultant, his response was "I forgot...hope that's not a problem". The ONLY reason it wasn't a problem is because I just happened to be home sick that day, otherwise we would have completely missed the delivery date we were never made aware of. The delivery guys were very nice and apologetic, so was the install team. They were great and apologized on behalf of SL even though they don't work for SL. The icing on the cake was that our consultant didn't add any hardware to our order. He didn't even ask about it or bring it up. He knew what hardware we already had. When the installers came today they asked if we had ordered hardware through SL, my response was that I wasn't made aware that was something we needed to do. Our consultant let us leave without ordering any hardware. Why would you not include hardware?! Mind you, we were only adding one set of cabinets and one set of drawers, so this should have been quick and easy. If there was ANY other location option that could match our existing cabinets I would have worked with them over SL in a blink of an eye. This was a never ending nightmare. We now have cabinets that don't match exact color and have no hardware. At no point during my interactions with SL did I feel myself, my money, or my time was respected. I felt like an inconvenience and an afterthought. I don't care how much money you're spending, that feeling should never occur. If we need anything else for our kitchen, including the countertops that we plan on replacing, we will be avoiding SL like the plague. You couldn't pay me to work with them again.
