Not has big as they make it sound. If your planing to buy a new car, come check it out, you get to see them in and out with out the hassle of a sales man.

Really good show to go to if your in the market for a new car. You get to test drive Chevy, Ford, Toyota and Dodge's from 10 am- 6 pm. Inside the convention center there are 23 manufacturer's to choose from. You get to sit inside the cars and kick the tires there are reps to answer you questions as well as MSRP tags. The show also has some very cool not for sale show cars on display.

No fun entertainment and poor envelope. Not comparable to shows from NYC or LA. Missing many brands e.g. BMW, Land Rover, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Mini, Scion. No future models. Simply provisional display from local main steam dealers.

Tip - Use code ADOBE to get $1 off Tip #2 - Use Facebook Share to get another $1 off Tip #3 - Use Twitter Tweet to get another $1 off Your ticket should come to $7.50 ($7 + $0.50 fee) The parking space at the convention center will cost you $1 for every 20 minutes so expect another $6 or so. If you are extremely stingy, you can take test drives and some companies will give you money back. For example, Honda gives a $10 Visa Card for test driving their car. Silicon Valley Auto Show is a great place to visit if you are in the market to buy a new car without being harassed by car salesman. Look, sit in the front seat, sit in the back seat, sit in the trunk, play with the navigation for every car. The workers are really there to answer questions and not push you into buying. They have come long ways and they have almost every brand for "normal" consumers. "Normal" in the bay area would be someone that buys a $1 million dollar house that complains about mpg.
