  I've been taking piano lessons with Shuree for the past few months and have nothing but great things to say! She does a great job incorporating theory and technique into her lessons. While anyone can teach you to memorize a song, Shuree teaches you to read music and understand the dynamics of the piece. She is patient with beginners, but also knows how to push you to do more each week. As an adult novice, I was worried about taking lessons, but Shuree has made this a lot of fun!

  I began taking piano lessons with Shuree about a year ago, and she has helped me develop greatly as a musician since then. Her approach to teaching was very effective. She encouraged me to think at the music in a thoughtful and critical manner, which is an incredibly important skill to have for a musician. I recommend her studio to anyone seeking to develop their artistic abilities on the piano. Note: I'm a college student who has been playing piano for a long time.

  My 11 year old son has been studying piano with Shuree for almost a year. Within that year Shuree has taught him to set clear goals for his practice time and about the level of pieces he should be playing during his upcoming recitals. She is always stretching my son to improve and add new piano theory, techniques and, dynamics when choosing his music. During this past year Shuree has taught my son the fundamentals to play technical pieces with a focus on transitions and timing. She allows him to choose the type of music he likes and he has learned Christmas, pop, rock, and classical songs. What I love the most about Shuree is that she is focused and has huge expectations for my son. She does not allow him to lose focus or waste time. Whether she is teaching him musical analysis, proper concert etiquette, or scale practice she maintains strict time management skills.

  Whenever my daughter goes to Shuree's piano class, she is pretty happy and enjoy the time very much. Shuree helps my daughter finding more interesting and intrinsic meaning in music art. Shuree is a very professional and patient teacher. I am glad to see my daughter grow up on music in this year.
