At first, I liked it because I was left alone. I like being left alone during my shopping experience. Someone welcomed me to the store then after a bit asked if I needed help then that was it until I checked out. Great! Now, when you buy these shoes of course no one expects the height of construction. They're cheap shoes meant to last, maybe, a season. If you're thinking of Louboutin when you walk in then you need a reevaluation of self, life, and mental state. So my complaint isn't about the product. It's about the people who work there. Apparently, when I wanted to check out the store manager thought that would be the time to hash out a schedule and time off request for an employee. I stood there while she couldn't understand the concept of someone coming back to town but not coming back to work on the same day the got back into town. I mean, really? It's not that hard. Then, I guess her daughter or someone, needed to get "situated" and that was something that needed to be mentioned. Whatever. Anyway, once I was finally granted an audience, I asked if toe cushions would be good for the type of shoe I was buying. As I said before, the shoes are cheap (which is what I needed because I was in a hurry, I hate to shop, and there was no way I was going to a mall, and no time to shop online as I would be working all weekend) and have no insole. It's hard, so I was going to buy toe cushions since when I wear heels that's the part of my foot that hurts the worst. Instead of answering the question I was asked what the cushions would be for. I paused, confused; as I was under the impression that the answer would be obvious, seeing as how their use was published on the package. And oh, you sell the product so; shouldn't you know that? Guess not. Silly me. I stated that the cushions were for comfort. I was asked when I'd be wearing them. Again, I paused, because I'm not sure how that's your business. "Monday." Then I was asked if I would be home all weekend, I said no, I was probed more, and stated that I worked, then I was told to walk around in the shoes to get used to them. Well, duh! That 's what everyone does. That is not some great scientific discovery. Nobody is growing potatoes on Mars. Breaking in shoes is common sense and not the point. I put the cushions back and stated that I would buy some somewhere else. The point is this. Know your product. Your shoes are cheap. When someone asks you what they should buy to make the shoes more comfortable, just advise them. Don't tell them, "Well, they're wedges they're meant to be comfortable." That's bull. Sure, that would be the case with $800.00 shoes not $30.00 ones from Shoe Show. Work on your customer service skills.
