  I came here on 11/23/2017. This was’nt my first time here so I already knew what I was looking for. As I was walking through the aisles, I noticed an employee, woman, sitting on the floor of the aisle. Blocking the area I wanted to look at. Not even acknowledging I was standing a few feet from her. I look over at the young man who greeted me when I came in and I asked if shoe city doesn’t give breaks. He looked at me confused and I pointed in the direction of the employee. Embarrassed he apologized, and I was on my way.

  I actually ended up never buying from here: I worked close by, needed shoes, walked in and was followed by an employee the entire time - so didn't buy. A few months later, I figured maybe that was an isolated situation so I'd give it another try - I walked in and I was followed every single moment. It was so obvious and really quite insulting. I understand protecting a store from theft but the way they are doing it is very offensive. It's a small store and they can protect it better even without making a customer feel like a criminal. They profile certain people and are not very smart about it. I will not shop here.
