::Shinola, the American-made fine goods store based out of Detroit, has a great retail location in the north loop of Minneapolis! I have a shinola watch that I absolutely love. The quality and attention to detail in all of their products is amazing. They share a space with dogwood coffee and Filson! The entire place is very relaxed with a great atmosphere. There aren't too many places to sit if you're getting coffee, but it did the seem very busy. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and knowledge about the products. It's great to be able to see so many of their watches in one place. They also have leather goods such as wallets, bags, briefcases, journal covers...you name it!

::One of only a few locations in the US for this unique retailer. Easy to get to but somewhat tricky to find since it shares the space with another retailer (Filson) and a coffee shop. Shinola offers higher end (price) watches that are assembled in Detroit. A lot of leather crafted items and even a limited selection of bikes. Some good potential gift items if you're looking for something unique. Worth checking out this shop if you're looking for out of the ordinary or support US made.
