::I live in the neighbourhood. Have stayed a couple nights during the blizzard. The rooms have a good view. Breakfast buffet at Nubar had good options.

::Elegant hotel a short walk from Harvard Square. The area is pretty quiet, but that can be a big plus, since I've stayed in the middle of Harvard Square, which can be fairly noisy late at night. Rooms are well appointed, with a really comfortable bed and nice furnishings. WiFi was reasonably fast. Front desk service warm and friendly. Didn't try fitness center or restaurant this time.

::Excellent service from desk staff and housecleaning. Very attentive to guest needs. Clean, updated rooms. Breakfast not included but Nubar in the lobby has a breakfast buffet and a fully stocked bar.

::Was there for a ball for a professional event. The staff was quick and professional, the room used was big and spacious. There is an overhead balcony in the room that doesn't have a good view of the floor below, but that's not too important for a ball.

::Perfect stay! Everyone at the Commander was kind and more than willing to help us. The room was beautiful. King size bed was comfortable, shower was nice and hot and the hotel itself is gorgeous. We come to this area every year and we will definitely be keeping this place in mind :)
