::Be careful with inspections here. They like to find issues when there are none.

::Honest. Very professional. Prompt. Reasonable repair costs. I've been taking our cars here for over 10 years. Ivan, who manages the garage is exceptionally knowledgeable concerning auto mechanics and he always gives great great advice and service when maintaining or repairing our cars. In one occasion I took one of our cars to the dealership for recall work on the airbag. They then looked over the whole car and tried to convince me that I needed about $1,500 in additional repairs that I'd have to pay for. I wisely took the car to Ivan at the Shell station and asked him to have their mechanics look it over and advise whether the car really needed all that work. They could have easily checked it out and then told me that the car needed most of that work but not all of it, and I would have paid them to do it. Instead, Ivan advised me that virtually nothing the dealer told me was correct and that all I needed was some minor repairs for about $100! I won't take my cars for repair anywhere but the Tysons Shell.

::Can be hard to get in during rush hour but I've never had any problems with this place

::Generally cheaper prices but a little difficult to get in and out of during rush hour since it is on a busy intersection.

::Review for service: Normally great prices on gas in the Tyson's area. Inspection and emissions are a breeze. However, this time I called ahead for quote on oil change labor since I bring my own synthetic oil and filter. After the work was done, the price($20) was higher than quoted($16) over the phone and Ivan, the shop manager?, said the price I quoted over the phone was the "old price from 6months ago." Okay Ivan, you take the couple dollars this time and lose a customer. The price difference wasn't horrendous in dollar amount but a matter of principle, follow up on your word is all I ask. How many other customers would he do this to?
