  This place is awesome! We used to live in the area and went to both the Southlake location and this one in Watauga. We live outside the area now but still make the 30 minute drive out to Watauga to get our boys a haircut there, it's worth it! There's TV's at every station and xbox's for the older kids. A "glam" area for the girls with little dress up items for a fun time. Power wheels chairs for the toddlers, etc. Jacqui is our go to stylist there. She always understands exactly what I want their style to be and it's always perfect. If she's unavailable we use whoever is available at the time and the haircuts were great as well. Most of the negative reviews here are about the price but it's worth it for the experience provided here unlike a regular salon that's not very kid friendly. I highly recommend Sharkey's!

  We absolutely adore this place. I was the worst kind of mother by booking my son’s first hair cut at 6:30 when they close at 7:00, but Jessie was utterly precious to us from the moment we walked in. She introduced herself to the adults in my group (yes plural. It was his first cut, sue me.) and then spoke to my son like a human being. That meant more to me than anything. She didn’t speak about him as if he weren’t in the room, but spoke directly to him. She was patient as my son ooo’d and ahhh’d over the bells and whistles in the little cop car. She told us what she was doing before she moved on to the next step. This was obviously my son’s first time with clippers but he did so good! Not a single tear! I fully believe it’s because Jessie allowed him to inspect them before putting them to his head, move when he wanted to and was kind to him every second. Never once did she instruct me to restrain my child. She did a beautiful job without me having to “hold him tight”. She gave myself and my son genuine compliments and praise, which we turned around and gave back to her. She made this experience beautiful and memorable for sure. We will be back, but only on a Tuesday or Thursday from 2-7 when Jessie is working.

  As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a bright and inviting atmosphere. From the receptionist with a ready smile to the fun cars and awesome colors everywhere. Everyone is always so kind and you look around and can see that they are a cohesive team. It's a place that you look forward to going to each day. This is a place that makes you want to work hard to provide that unique and exciting experience to each special kid that sits in your car or chair.
