  This was suggested to us as the best place in NYC to get a burger. And so on a rainy/snowy day, we decided to get shelter in a Shake Shack. And we're glad we did. Despite it being very busy, we were able to queue, order, and received the food pretty quickly. Great chips, great burgers, definitely a must for any fast food afficionados.

  Can't get better than shack shack. Great service great food, great prices, great shakes !!!! There's a good selection. And lots of locations not just this one. You can get a burger with loads on it, or fries with cheese sauce. No matter what you get you won't be disappointed. A lovely selection of shakes as well. The caramel is amazing and just now they also have red velvet cake and brownie batter !!

  I guess I should have known it would be crowded since it's the shake shack off Times Square - but the crowd at 5 pm on an average day around Christmas time wasn't too bad. We found place to sit reasonably quickly, but if you're a large party, be prepared to hustle a bit. For vegetarians- you should know already but they do a great mushroom burger (breaded with cheese on it) and cheesy fries, of course, are phenomenal.

  Yeah it was pricey. Yeah there was no place to sit. Yeah the wait was long for the hamburger. And yeah it was all worth it. I don't know what is in the burger but it tasted great and well worth the wait. The five stars is all for the burger!

  Crazy lines ups after musicals end at night but the burgers are worth it. I had the stack and it was great. Wife had the chicken and she loved it as well. Fries were delicious as well. Great place for a good bite after a Broadway show.
