The food can be a bit salty but if you ask for less salt, they oblige. Lines can be long depending on the time of day but they love very quickly. Gluten free bun available...not my favorite but it will do. The cheese fries are delicious but beware if you have celiac...the staff told me there is contamination in the cooking oil.

I love Shake Shack, so we decided to go to dinner there before my son had an appointment in midtown. It wasn't too crowded because it was Wednesday, shortly before 6 (of course, there was a line to the door, but I've seen much worse). We found a table downstairs and waited and waited .The couple in front of us in line were finishing their meal, so my husband went upstairs to check and was given a brush off. So he waited upstairs and we waited downstairs with a three year old and finally he pushed back. The order had been sitting somewhere behind the counter. He was told it had to be redone, but we didn't have the time. It still was delicious with room temperature food and a melted concrete, but it would have been nice if an employee had taken seriously my husband's first request that there might be a problem.

BURGERS and more BURGERS. That’s all I wanted. Quick service with very polite workers. I had a smooth shake. So yummy. Very good prices.

Fantastic spot for a great burger! I recommend the double SmokeShack! It has just the right amount of spice. The flavour in these burgers are amazing. The place was packed as it was lunchtime, however service was extremely quick and polite. Like with any NYC spot, be patient and assertive if you want to get your hands on a table.

First time in New York so had to see what this Shake Shack talk is all about. Tried this location since it was close to the museum and central park, which explains perhaps why it was so crowded. There are tables on the same floor where you order and there are a few more downstairs. All of the tables were taken and I am guessing the staff was so busy they did not have a chance to clean. We ordered a regular burger and fries, they were good. The customer service representative up front was also very helpful.
