  I have lived in Shadyside for several years and used to be hesitant about this place due to prices. I definitely think the quality of their meat and produce is significantly better than any of the groceries stores around. The produce is very fresh and the greens in particular last much longer than what we buy at Trader Joes, Giant Eagle, and Whole Foods Meat is pricey, but worth it.

  Everything's overpriced. Small market, only go in there to get a few things at a time but $10 min for a credit card. Don't bother, whole foods is right up the road and cheaper - and they take credit cards.

  Great store! Went in after they closed and the owner let us in quick to grab a few things. She even gave us some complimentary snacks on the way out. The sweetest!

  Though a little pricey, it's close to my apartment and not packed with people. If you just need a few things, this gives you a better grocery selection than a place like RiteAid and without the crowds of Giant Eagle. Wonderfully prepared foods. Reminds me of the small markets I could go to when I was a child where I grew up.
