  Sesquicentennial State Park is a state park in the Sandhills region of South Carolina. Located in the suburbs of the state capital, Columbia, Sesquicentennial State Park's 1,419 acres (5.74 km2) include a 30-acre (120,000 m2) lake. Sesquicentennial State Park also includes many hiking trails, meeting facilities, a dorm, a ropes course, and a dog park.[1]

  The atmosphere is nice the keep the place very clean and its great for a simplistic hang out. Its a great place to take wedding and engagement photos. The parking is not free due to being downtown unless you park after 6p.m. or on Sunday. Also there are only 7 parking spots located immediately at the park. So be prepared to walk a block or 2. I only go there to play pokemon go

  Great place in downtown Houston, it still needs to be fixed up a little from the flood damage, but it is still great for pictures.

  Whether a bike ride, run or a simple walk, this park is one of Houston’s hidden gems!
