  I have mixed feelings about this entire experience. Initial interactions with project manager who came to the site were very good. Discussions with the staff at the main office were also very good. Even though the work was done on a site that was not owned by me, I did not hear about the project's progress until I initiated a call during the week. After I paid for the entire project, I viewed the work and was not totally satisfied with one portion of the job's scope - the cleaning of the ceilings and walls. While the job was extremely challenging (double vaulted ceilings), I still saw evidence of soot on the ceilings and the walls. For what was paid, I would have expected a better performance. When I called, the project manager was most sympathetic and told me that some of the soot could not be removed. I would have liked to have been told that before I evaluated the work. On a positive note, he offered to remove a rug in the house as a way to assuage my disappointment. I appreciated his professionalism at that point. After the project was finished, I wondered if I would ever use this service again.

  Our basement was flooded and our power was out due to a storm. They estimated the cost to pump out the basement (which has a fairly small footprint), to be $4000. Additional services such as drying out the basement, would be more. My brother, who lives in Fairfield County, CT, where services tend to be more expensive than here in Dutchess County, thought that was a ridiculously high price for this, and so did we. Needless to say we declined the service.

  The folks at Servpro of Kingston/New Paltz were very helpful in the remediation of some recent water damage. They came to the site promptly and everyone was very helpful from the estimator... to the owner... to the site crew...to office staff.....very pleased with the service received.
