  I take my dry cleaning here all the time, and for as long as I've lived here (23 years) and I've never had a problem. The people dissing this place are probably competitors.

  I took several dress shirts in to be laundered, a few came back with missing buttons which, I realize, happens and was not a big deal. However, Select Cleaners also decided to WRITE on my shirts, apparently for their convenience in determining which shirts went with my order. That the writing is still on my shirts indicates to me that either they used an ink that does not easily wash out or that they did not do a good job of cleaning the shirts. Both are unacceptable. When asked about the practice the individual at the counter said she would tell the owner that I was upset about them writing on my clothes and that "he would laugh at me." I explained that she had to admit that my concern was valid and should at least be considered in a business-like manner and that derision was certainly inappropriate. Her response was to laugh and shrug without further comment. This experience was quite bizarre and my shirts still have writing on them. There are lots of wonderful launderers and dry cleaners in the area, please, unless you are looking for someone to write your name on all your clothes for you, save yourself the headache and avoid this place if you can.
