::all i needed was a head gasket cover came out with a 1200. Hundred doller bill and then had to go back be because they said i needed a new oil pan thats why i was leaking oil and so they changed the oil pan but did not seal it right so oi spilled all over the grown on my honda civic!! THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE!! .

::These lazy guys just dont give a hoot about you or your car. You're just another thorn on their side when they see you pull up. Sloppy service with a bad attitude. The reviews are true, dont discount them.

::my car stalled and got a fuel pump malfunction message on the car. took it to sears and told them I wanted the pump changed. the service person told me that it might be something else because it was a newer car. they did a diagnosis on the car and I was told it was a sensor. I had them change the sensor and the next day the car stalled again with the same message. I called them a week later after not hearing from them and was told that they needed to get a gas tank for it because the ring that holds the pump to the tank broke. Finally after three weeks I get the car back and on the same day in the evening the car has a rough idle. I called the shop and I was told that the technician that is able to work on the car is out of town for two weeks. the next day after that the car stalls again with a fuel pump message. I tried to get a hold of the manager but have not been successful. Incompetent technician, poor work, service and communication. Never again will I go back to Sears Automotive.

::The sense of urgency is non existent when you have about 8 customers waiting in line!!! Waited 2 hours to get a battery changed. Never got a call to tell me my car was ready. Not coming here again.

::I actually had a really good experience at this Sears Auto. I got a Die hard battery last year at the Almaden store, which has since closed. Last week the battery died, but it was still under warranty. I'd read online quite a few horror stories about Sears not honoring their warranty on these things, but figured I didn't have a lot to lose anyway. Took it in to this location- which is a bit far from my place. They tested it, found it was bad, and replaced it right there- took less than 15 mins. Seems honest and pretty efficient to me.
