    Sears(3rd party) guys came out 4 times and 2 sets of parts did NOT fix washer, they said wrong part. Actual Sears repair man came out for dryer repair, asked about washer and fixed it with "wrong" part. Do NOT accept their 3rd party repair guys, Took 3 months to resolve....

    I have the maintenance program for my washer but not for my dryer. I have done maintenance for both every year for the past 3 years and it was great. This is thought (2018) I had difficulty from the scheduling call. First, they wanted me to call to make the appointment the day after the 1 year of my last appointment. I had to ask to talk with a supervisor, who later told me I could do the maintenance once per calendar year and the date was not an issue. 2. They gave me a 4 hour window, the technician came 1 hour late 3. The technician only had the order to work on the washer and not the dryer and told me he couldn’t put the order in. I called sears, they transferred my call 3 Times and told me they couldn’t add it and I had to make another appointment. The rate for the dryer was $50 for doing it on the same day and over $100 for doing it separate!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! they are in the process of transferring the services to DISH, so sears is not doing it themselves anymore.

    I’ve been a Sears customer for a long time and this entire service experience was very disappointing and upsetting. The dryer lint caused a small fire in my basement and I needed service on the dryer immediately it took them a week to schedule me and told me to call the provider company. I got no follow up I made 5 to 10 phone calls in the process and nobody at the company to assist nor return calls. On the day of my schedule service no one showed up and I took time off from work from 1 to 5. After calling Sears at 5:30 the technician got a hold of me at 6:30 to ask if I will be home did not apologize very unprofessional, they show up for five minutes the next day to tell me that the dryer is OK but the venting is not covered by Sears that I need to replace! Totally unprofessional I don’t know what service companies you have contracts with but will be canceling my Sears contract as soon as possible, spending 6-$700 a year to cover my appliances is not worth it.

    refrigerator not working properly. Appointment for Fri oct 13 between 1PM and 4 PM. No one showed up or called. Made new appointment for Oct 18 1-4PM . Tech arrived 3Pm - Very polite, efficient,neat and thorough. Unfortunatedly he could not help me as the refrigerator was now working.

    When I scheduled the repair of my refrigerator I was told that there would be a $105 diagnostic fee. If I chose to go ahead with the repair the fee would be put toward the repair. The refrigerator needed the gasket on the freezer door adjusted. No new parts required. I was charged an additional $165 for the labor for a total bill of $288. I called Sears several times to ask about the diagnostic fee and was told something different with each person I spoke with. I was unable to settle the issue. I will NEVER use Sears for home repair again. It was false advertising.
