    Just left here with a pair of boots. Went upstairs to check out in the tool area. Upon my arrival, I asked a Woman by the name of TRISH to please help me because I only had one item. She, in a disgusting tone and “shooing” of her hand, said, “You can go over there to that register and someone can help you out.” I responded, “I was there and there wasn’t anyone to assist us.” Responded, “I’m looking straight at him. He can help you.” Upon walking away, I watched her as she assisted another customer. She fanned them over to her and greeted them with a smile. I wish she verbally stated that she was waiting on a friend. Not mad at her for wanting to help a friend. I’m mad at her distasteful customer service in redirecting me to another cashier. There’s ways to talk to people when you have a job that deals with people. Period.

    SERVICE DEPARTMENT STINKS = . Canceled appointment - did not call me We called for an appointment MARCH 7 and we were given an appointment March 8 from 1 - 5pm. Told we would receive a text 1/2 hour prior to their arriving. No text. WAITED AND NO ONE CAME. We called at 4:45PM to be told appointment was cancelled. Told them it would have been nice if someone called or text us! Also told us - they no longer service the SUMP PUMP we had which was installed April 23017 and we had a 3 year warranty protection on it. After making a big stink on the phone, told they will call us before 1 pm on Monday. No call. NO SURPRISED. Calling SEARS AGAIN and waiting. Now told I have a temP. appointment for march 15 - nice if they called to tell me. (She's looking into what's going on!)

    My husband was accused of shoplifting by two aggressive security guards as soon as we finished shopping and walked out the doors along with our 2 children- 1 year old and 4 year old!!! We are both Sears members and my family and I have been shopping at Sears in Brooklyn for as long as I can remember. We recently moved nearby and although we've been to the mall countless times, we decided to visit Sears this time and were also planning another trip. But as soon as we walked out, two guards literally cornered my husband and told him to take out the jewelry. I immediately thought it was a scam and rushed in to ask our cashier to please check to see if these men really worked there- NO PROFESSIONAL is expected to act in the manner they did. The cashier refused to even take a look and told me her work is inside, not outside! I was walking back and forth with my 1 year old while my 4 year old daughter was petrified watching two men closing in on her dad, ordering him to go with them and to take the jewelry before the cops came. He emptied out all of his pockets and despite the fact that they could not find anything, they walked away only after repeating that he was lying and that the cops would take care of it. I called the manager as soon as we got home who said he would credit 50 dollars in points to my account (He hasn't yet.), but there is no excuse. They treated customers as petty thieves. We bought clothing. Why would we steal metal, cheap jewelry that probably cost 7 bucks at most? The man also had the audacity to tell my husband that he knows my husband wont take out the stolen items because he is embarrassed in front of his wife! My daughter spent the entire ride home saying "My dad didn't steal anything." This was a horrible experience and I am awaiting the managers call again. If not, we are thinking of addressing this situation in another way. Just horrible!

    It was just not a comfortable experience from walking in the door hearing a staff member arguing with a costumer to the employee who said that I had received my order that I placed online with the required five minutes, I had not. There was nothing pleasant about being in the outdated store. The only reason I gave them a two star rating is because the prices were not too bad for the items I had bought.
