  This is a great family tourist trap. Good food choices are available. Fun and funky shops and live music are available. Kites and Bubbles, picnic tables and boats. This is essential San Diego for tourists. I would have given it 5 stars except the parking prices are criminal. Go park some where else and walk. Couple hours can be $30-50 bucks!!

  I love to spend time here. There is so much to do from eating at one of the many great restaurants, and there's a specialty cupcake shop, ice cream , candy apples, Mexican food and alcohol and burgers. The is also the cheesecake factory close by....yummy. as far as things to do you can rent a bike, scooter or a kite(kites at kite flight shop). Go for a nice walk even.

  I have been coming here with my family since the 1980's and always have fun here. The grounds are well maintained and the shops are cute. I love the fountain and the flowers. Even if you don't plan on buying anything it is fun to walk around look at the window displays or holiday decorations.

  Everyone should make this as one of their stops if you are in the San Diego downtown area whether you are from out of town or a local resident. We have lived here for years and been to Seaport Village many times, we still make the the drive from North County to here from time to time. It's a very pleasant place to be: right by the water front, excellent views, souvenir shops, food court and restaurants, long stretch of grass with wide sidewalks. You can walk your dogs here, bike around, good bay views, many spots for great pictures, among many other things to do here.

  Great place to go shopping or just get some fresh air on the bay. The shops are very cool and there is a wide variety of goods offered, everyone is sure to find something to suit their mood or style. There are plenty of places to get food, you can choose a small counter service restaurant or a sit down table service seafood restaurant and leave feeling completely satisfied. There is plenty of grass if you want to have a picnic, there are a lot of trees, benches for seating, telescopes on the sea wall, and a lot of open space to enjoy. While walking around you will probably find some live entertainment, we got to see a magician and listen to a man playing a unique wind instrument. You can spend hours just sitting in the grass watching the boats and ships go in and out of the bay. While there, we saw replicas of historic ships, a huge international car carrying ship, small sail boats, jet skis, and even land to sea tour boats. Definitely a must see for anyone visiting San Diego. Just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for parking.
