  They are fast and they don't have to load materials the best way probably the best place in Kansas City to get Lumber and a great wholesale price

  First, they have a variety of different woods to choose from, but I was going in there for a small piece of hardwood to serve as a banister on my staircase. I was only looking to purchase about 2.5bf. I picked out the type of wood that I wanted and it was about 17$ a bf for the type of wood that I wanted. When they went to ring it up...I was told they would charge me for 3 bf...it was their policy to "round up". In addition to that, they aleady plane the wood to the different thicknesses. For instance if you wanted a 4/4 piece of wood...they would already have it planed to 3/4 and charge you for 4/4. It my opinion even though they have a variety of different wood, they are extremely overpriced

  Very helpful inside. The guys in the yard aren't afraid to help you load your lumber. The best lumber yard around.

  Had the 4x4 posts no other lumber company or big box store carried and staff super helpful. Definitely my new lumber supply store.

  Came in the other day feeling completely lost on what I needed to do to refinish my sun room and stain my fence I put in a few weeks back. Being in automotive sales, I constantly try and cater to high line clients. Your sales representative Aron Morales was more than helpful and went WAY above the call to help. It was very refreshing to know that there are others out there in different fields that work so hard to take care of their visitors. I have and will continue to purchase my lumber and materials from Shutte as long as this quality of customer service continues. Thank you again Aron.
