  You like cookies? Then go to schmackarys! Always the best workers with smiles on their faces (rare for NYC) and fresh cookies/brownies too! My personal fave is the cookies and cream cookie or the mint brownie. In the winter I would come in just for a cup of their yummy hot chocolate. Always a win!

  Went here earlier today. You can no longer pick what cookies you actually want (or don't want for that matter) when you order a dozen or at least that's what the girl said when I ordered my 6 separately and was about to order a dozen for my friend. She had to reiterate that to the guy server who was about to ask me what cookies I actually wanted after I got back in line for my friends dozen. For $24 you should be able to pick exactly what you want. Pretty bogus.

  Schmackary’s came highly recommended by a friend so I made the trek to give it a try. When I got there it was relatively empty but soon filled up. There are an array of unique cookies with clever names. Simple and easy, which is great. I found the cookie to be rather dry and somewhat lifeless. Maybe with all the hype my expectations were just too high, but it didn’t hit it out of the park for me. I made my way through it mostly because of the price I paid for it. I suppose I could have gone on an off day or my palate just prefers a smoother, softer texture with a bit more boldness in the flavor profile.

  Nice little cookie store, with an interesting rotation of cookies. The price is good for the size and variety, though you need to be aware on a daily basis if your favorite flavor will be available. I tried the Fluffed Butter cookie, which was good but I found the sweetness overbearing as I made my way through the cookie. The Cereal Killer was an interesting idea, but the sugary, dry cereal on top again overwhelmed my taste buds a bit. If you've more of a sweet tooth, these might be right up your alley, but I couldn't take too much, personally. The hot chocolate was good and thick, and very nice on a cold night, but I found it's sweetness to overwhelm me with a full cup as well. Might be best to get cookies and split them with someone unless you're a real fan of sugar. All in all, a great place to get a unique cookie for a good price!
