  This Save-A-Lot has a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. It has a wide variety of products and stays well stocked. A fantastic place to pick up some bread... The best time to go is early, it opens at 8am as it can get very busy. Bring your own bags. If you don't have any bags you get charged 5 cents a bag. I guess its a small price to pay for saving some money.

  Great little store to begin shopping if you are budget shopper, I am satisfied with their brand foods and produce, meats, and dairy very good. Produce selection is limited but everyday items are value priced, none of the fake produce decorations of big store just fresh ordinary products. the basics are as good as national brands and always less expensive than Walmart. you will not find premium expensive foods , just good values on everyday products. Sav a lot makes Winn Dixie look a jewelry store

  Love everything about this store. Hate that they closed the Slidell store.
