::The bank refused my cash for deposit, because it was old 100 dollar bills. I've been an account holder for 11 years, and NEVER have I been humiliated like this! It is your branch in Harvard Square. You got terrible management and service!

::There is very rude, arrogant, unprofessional bank teller (Leila) that she avoids to help customers. Her hair and appearance is mess and not smiling. She was not caring a name tag but I found her name from other tellers. I usually use Boston Branches and had always pleasant experience. But only once I used this Harvard Sq branch and I am in shocked with this strange teller. DO NOT GO THERE.

::Friendly and Knowledgeable team. I really enjoyed visiting this branch because it is a small group of people whom you can chat with and get to know well. They always remember you by name and they genuinely care about your day. Tetteh Venera and Leila always greet me with a smile. I purposely visit only this branch.

::Very impolite teller (Leila), and no smiling, she told me that there is no receipt; when deposited money to someone; because the system doesn’t give her this option. What kind of bank doesn’t give you receipt? A younger lady close to here was very nice and could give me a help at matter. never again at that bank

::The genuinely awful tellers in Harvard Square manage to poison the whole banking relationship. I'd have to agree with the "Avoid" review from earlier. I've previously had to deal with them when the ATMs out front are broken, which they often are. They're never very good or even polite. Today, however, I slogged there in the rain to drop off what is actually a very typical deposit for my Santander account. The teller was very nosey and unhelpful, even though I had proper ID and 5 years at that branch. She seemed not to understand how to distinguish the drawer from the payee on a money order from the bank right across the street. She asked extremely intrusive questions and made a bunch of decisions that were completely unprincipled, accepting and rejecting items with the exact same endorsement. All of this on a deposit, not a withdrawal. Her partner behind the counter just shrugged. I should have demanded to see a bank officer but since this is par for the course with this branch, a better view would just be to "Avoid." Because of their poor customer service training, I have to walk around for a day or two with a significant sum in an endorsed money order until I can get over to a bank branch that is more competently staffed. Very frustrated with this: will yank my account as soon as it's logistically seamless as any loyalty is out the window now. I'd add that I have accounts at Citizens, TD, and Bank of America in the Square, and never experienced service as poor as at Santander (although the line at BofA can be glacial). It is also very hard to get the assistance of an officer at Santander, and there are a significant number of panhandlers immediately at the front entrance, which is disconcerting since this is also where they've decided to locate the wide-open ATMs.
