  Sandy Hook came a long way from the 90s like I remember it. Great bike path and some army history.

  Love going here!! I swear every time we see something new! Although I only go out of season..I don't go to swim I go to explore. I am never disappointed! Even off season the restrooms are well maintained and the park is clean. Great place to take the kids for a history lesson and Pets are welcome.

  So much history here. Used to be Fort Hancock, the first proving ground of the United States military, before it was moved to Aberdeen in Maryland. Nice beaches, nice trails through forests of holly.
