  Close to the best rye bread in the universe, fragrant with caraway and with a wonderful sourdough tang. The chocolate roll, known elsewhere as babka, is divine too. Authentic Hungarian kakaosh! BUT, last time I went, rye was only available Thursday mornings, chocolate roll Friday mornings. Hasidim eat spelt bread now - that was unexpected - my world rocked! (The very best rye, in case you were wondering, can be found at Lofoten Fiskerestaurant, at the harbor, Akker Brygge, in Oslo, Norway.)

  A old style Hungarian kosher bakery, while everything they make is delicious, the water challah is the best I have ever tried, place is nice and homey, service is excellent

  Not to miss when in New York. All their things are simply amazingly well done. It is so good to see people doing their job so well! It would be great if they would make a receipt book!
