::Absolutely gorgeous day! The 1800's tucked under the skyline. Beautiful old Oaks and nice pathways.

::'Effing Magical. The skyline, the art, the beautiful weather... Now is the time to be alive and Sam Houston Park is where the living happens

::This is Very beautiful park. The community band of southeast Texas played at the USS Houston Memorial Service & it was wonderful to be a part of it in such a beautiful place.

::Quiet park in the heart of downtown. Features historic collection of residences, relevent to Houston's history. Gathering spot for the AIDs work.

::Nice park with many interesting historical structures which you can view from the outside via a call in audio tour they provide...However don't count on the tour schedule they post as their volunteer guides are highly unreliable and may not show up..The 1 day we were able to be there both the morning and afternoon guides were no shows. In these cases management has no back up plans and just cancels the tours..Audio guide was too faint to be able to hear it. Disappointing. A small pond with ducks does offer some wildlife.
