  Just right portions for the pedestrian and the food was great. Quite friendly and quick but not rushed. I will make it a point to visit during future trips to NYC

  OK, I’m a West Coast guy, so maybe my expectations aren’t so high, but tonight’s dinner at Salumeria exceeded them all. From the start, the place is cozy, the wine list is well chosen, the staff knowledgeable and ubiquitous. We started with a selection of house-prepared salumi: three slices each of eight chef-selected varieties. All we’re fresh, flavorful and authentic. The family chose a number of dishes from the varied menu. Each was wonderful- the gnocchi tender, the soup delicious, the Manzo (skirt steak with heirloom beans) perfectly medium rare. This was top quality food and great service - don’t miss it!

  First night of our anniversary tour to NYC. I cannot think of a better opening meal experience. Andrew the owner GM worked us into a packed Saturday night slate -- thank you! The caprese salad was the best I have ever had and the Saturday lamb special was an amazing full meal treat and value. I give this a very stingy 5 stars ... Treat yourself to a great night with unique ambiance and personal service. Well done.

  Amazing charcuterie! Was definitely the highlight of the evening. And the ambiance is ideal for those looking for a relaxing or romantic night out. Highly recommend a reservation if you plan to go.

  Dined here tonight with family before show at Beacon. Food was amazing and service even better. The owner was friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place... Atmosphere was so cozy and warm. Just a great experience!
