  I’ve lived downtown since November and I’ve been avoiding getting my haircut. I have naturally curly hair and it’s really hard to find places that can cut my hair right. Kurt was awesome and put all of my fears at ease. I left with an absolutely amazing haircut and will more than likely be back.

  Kurt did such an AMAZING job on my hair! He took his time, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time with what he was doing to my hair! Not to mention he was great company and conversation. The moment I walked into the salon he was so friendly and professional. I will be back again and again! Definitely recommend this salon.

  Changing my review. I had previously posted a five star review for SITC as I did have a couple of good cuts from Kurt, however, my last cut was such a disaster that I'm updating my review. Not only did I get the worst haircut of my life last time I was there, but having to listen to Kurt complain about EVERYTHING for the 45-minute appointment was really uncomfortable. Two months later, and I'm still waiting for my terrible haircut to grow out. I will no longer be a client at Salon in the City.

  I read the reviews on Kurt and Salon in the City and thought I'd call for an appointment. I've been there for 3 hair cuts and color with Kurt. He is extremely skilled at both hair cut and color. I am very pleased I found his salon. I highly recommend. On top of that, he has a very good personality! Nice shop and location! I plan on being a long time customer.
