  I visited Salon Edera (in Mount Kisco, NY) to receive a "Thermafuse F450 Amino Acid Smoothing Treatment". While receiving the 2.5+ hour treatment, I was told that I would "love the results" which would "last up to 3 months" and that I would notice a difference regarding the way my hair would react in humid weather (less frizz) and when I let it air-dry (smoother curls). I also purchased from them a bottle of the F450 Shampoo and a bottle of the F450 Conditioner, which they recommended and told me would help "maintain" the results. However, after 3 weeks, I still did not notice any difference in my hair. With the urging of my husband and friends, I called Salon Edera to express my discontent with the results and was immediately confronted with rude, condescending, and wildly defensive "attitude" from each owner (two sisters). Each owner told me that, based on their years of experience providing Thermafuse, this treatment does not work on all hair types (specifically my hair type). If they knew this, why didn't they warn me? Why did they subject me to over 2.5 hours of treatment and repeatedly tell me that I would "love the results," etc.? The "Thermafuse F450 Amino Acid Smoothing Treatment" DOES NOT work on every hair type, so PLEASE get a consultation first before you waste your money and time. Both owners clearly lack basic customer-service skills and etiquette, and have no regard for their customers' satisfaction. I would not recommend this salon, nor visit it again.
