::I moved into the area recently and decided it was time to start seeking more than just a normal barbershop cut. While researching the local surroundings, I came across SDQNYC and decided to take a shot and booked online with stylist David. The Salon itself is very nice and clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. David was excellent and knew exactly what i was looking for. I will definitely be returning.

::My hair is thin and straight so it requires layers. Audrey always does a perfect job. Love it!

::Went for a haircut here. The woman at the front desk was fairly rude and condescending-- turns out she was one of the stylists that was actively complaining that the front desk girl was late. When I told her my appointment time she said she didn't have me in the system even though I booked online and received a confirmation. I was made to wait almost twenty minutes before I got my haircut. The lady that cut my hair was nice although she seemed a bit concerned when I told her I wanted a zero fade, high and tight. It's a pretty standard and simple haircut. I got an alright fade, but this place generally seems to cater towards more vanilla types of clients. I did like that they wash your hair after your cut though so that you're not itchy for the rest of the day. If you're looking for a vanilla scissor cut, this may be your place. If you want a modern buzzer cut, go to a barbershop instead. Also, they have a weird "promotion" on Tuesdays where haircuts are $30. I wasn't aware of said promotion when I booked and went to pay. Since it was "promotion" day, they don't take cards on Tuesday. On other days they take cards and haircuts are $55. Overpriced for what this place is.
