Quality of the sushi/sashimi has gone down. Feels warm. Perhaps refrigeration not cool enough. Hope nothing is growing in the sushi/sashimi. Also their soy sauce is mediocre. Used regular soy sauce which came in a kikkoman dispenser but which was obviously NOT kikkoman. Had a bitter aftertaste which spoiled my enjoyment of the sushi and sashimi. Teriyaki salmon has also been growing smaller and thinner.

I dined at this restaurant tonight 3/15/18. Everything was fine until I asked for the bill. My waiter, Dennis was on break so I asked the waitress Michelle (this was the name I was given when I called back to verify who gave me the check) who was taking care of other tables for the bill. When I received the bill I noticed the tip was automatically added to the total. I am aware restaurants do this when you are dining in large groups, and in other instances customers are notified by signage or verbally but this was not the case so it was puzzling to me. I spoke to the manager Nicole, and asked why the tip was automatically added to my bill. She could not give me a reason and asked to see my receipt to confirm if it was in fact added. I asked if that was something they did to every bill she said that it absolutely was not, so I asked once again why it was automatically added to my bill. She literally had no valid response. I told her that was not good customer service and that I would have given a proper tip on my own so that was unacceptable and unnecessary. She then said there are alot of tourists in the area so it's something that they do at times, which has absolutely nothing to do with me and is still not an ethical practice. I paid the bill completely as I had no issue at all with my dining experience but this is definitely not honest customer service. It's upsetting which is why I am writing this complaint. I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well but wanted to write a review here so that others are aware.

Great tasting food! I would recommend this restaurant for family or couples. It’s pretty cozy.
