  This place is tiny and off the beaten path, which makes finding it a joy. Literally hundreds of the world's bests sakes at your finger tips. While pricey, you are avoiding the saccharin sweet sakes that so plague this fantastic drink's reputation. Not saying you won't find sweet, or floral or dry or fruity ones here, but don't expect a brand starting with the letter "H" to be found on the shelves.

  Horrible customer service. I'm not sure who's the owner, but asked someone who worked there named, Hirako about the umeshu I was buying and she didn't seem sure/confident about the product and why it was a particular way. Was super disappointed because the reviews on both Google and Yelp were so high. Apparently, this place was a letdown. Especially compared to places in Japan - the customer service was just horrendous here.

  Excellent selection and the owner had not let us down on a recommendation so far. Lovely spot.

  Very friendly owners, offered me a sample when I stumbled in during tasting hours. Have been back and will continue to come back! Everything has been superb so far.

  Owner is extremely knowledgeable. Great selection, fantastic recommendations and advice. Fair prices.
