Such amazing sushi and huge portions. I always overeat because it's so darn good...even when I order from their lunch menu. Forget those upscale wanna be sushi joints, this one's for reals! :)

When you open the doors, that lovely authentic Japanese kitchen aroma wafts in your face. That's how I know when it's going to be good. My Great Grandmother's kitchen smelled like that. You really can't go wrong with anything you decide to order. Wonderful service- refined and sincere, service qualities I have found to be rare in Phoenix. You won't be disappointed!

Our food was great! I'm giving it one star because as I was watching the game behind the sushi bar I watched one of the chef's touch a to go box and receipts from the POS and not wash his hands. He never washed his hands before continuing to make food. I didn't notice until we had just finished our food.

Excellent food! When l need a fresh seafood meal, this is where l go. I eat half of my sashimi salad on the spot and take the other half home (which l sizzle the next day). A picture is worth a thousand words so... why don't you check out mine🤗

It was a bit cold today and while entering the Sakana Sushi & Grill restaurant I was thinking of a hot soup or something like that! After I got a seat and tried to get comfortable I saw a bowl of soup right in front of me which apparently that is the first thing they always do in any Hibachi chain or Japanese grilled fare. The word Hibachi means "a charcoal brassier", the origin of the word is Japanese and it was first used in 1863. The restaurant is cozy with deem lights and it is a dine-in and take out place which has been in this location for less than a year now but there are 3 or 4 others in other locations. The menu has a list of seafood dishes which made it easier for me to decide. I should add here that the word "Sakana" also means fish in Japanese language, however, the food is moderately expensive. Service was attentive but no delivery or catering services. There is a bar with all types of drinks. Accessibility conveniences are available for adults and children including for those who use wheel chair.
