  Went to school here back in the mid 1980s The Church dates back to ~1908 and most of the original construction remains in place. This is a Franciscan Mission, as the name implies and works closely with the local community providing aid to the homeless, displaced and mentally ill as well as keeping the area around the church clean. Located across 26th Street from the Sutter's Fort Park and State Indian Museum, this is a must stop for the faithful.
