::The promises that were made regarding repairs on my recent purchase were nothing but lies. The salesman would not stand by his promises. The owner would not ask the salesman if he had made promises. The salesman would not call be back when I asked for his help. The most important repair promised was to seal the roof. Upon my inspection, I have found that was the biggest lie. I have no recourse but to warn future customers. Please believe me when I say DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! First thing you will notice is there is ONE star selected for this review. I am being generous to say the least. The coach I bought from Sahara in February is an older Allegro with low miles, very clean but with some issues. I was pleased to take it on because it seemed in good shape but needs TLC. I was assured all cosmetic repairs caused by a leaking roof would be fixed and the roof joints sealed, a ben latch repaired, inside trim smoothed out, sliding closet doors rehung on their tracks - the rollers are missing from top and bottom and the doors loosen and fall off while driving, the driver side drape track needs to be attatched to the ceiling, all top vinyl wall coverings need to be stretched to flatten against walls, the bedroom closet slide does not fully extend. Repairs that the salesman promised to repair and take care of for the price I paid. We wanted to join our RV friends in Quartzite, so we took it before all the repairs were completed. We were assured they would be finished when we came back after three days. No such luck. I was rudely told that since I did not get this in writing it would not be done. I understand my mistake was in trusting the salesman to be a man of his word. When I called him he told be that he would talk to the owner to see what he could do and get back to me. No such call came. I have done business with Sahara for seven years. I took two previous motor homes in for regular service and repairs, sold two motorhomes on consignment with them, and purchased the Allegro from them. I now know that loyalty and their word mean nothing to them. They said they would never have said what they said, essentially calling me a liar and I was at fault for not getting the salesman's promises in writing. I'm disgusted with myself for trusting them and I am disgusted with Sahara RV for not honoring their word. I now know how dishonest they are and am warning you. DO NOT TRUST THEM AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING! BUYER BEWARE. They are liars and scammers. What goes around comes around always.

::We go to the part dept all the time for things we need to update our travel trailer. Rod is amazing. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. Whatever they don't have, they can order. Great customer service keeps us going back.

::Purchased a motorhome in August. Due to the reviews I had a 3rd party tech look at the rv and perform repairs before I closed the deal. Glad I did because I would have probably been stuck on the side of the road and not had a working generator. When I went to pick it up, the screen for the dinette area was missing and the water panel controls were broken. Was promised these things would be shipped to me. After 6 weeks of not getting the parts I called and spoke with Monica, she assured me she would look into it and get back to me, she never called me back. I had to call multiple times to get any results. I was told the screen was shipped and given multiple excuses by Monica and Junior as to why it has taken so long but weeks later no screen. Finally they managed to pull themselves together and send the wrong screen which had become warped because it was put in a box with no packaging. I called Monica AGAIN and she gave me more excuses and promised to get back to me, this was weeks ago and I still havent heard from them. Monica and the staff in the parts department are either incompetent or they are trying to screw people over by not giving them the parts promised. In addition, it looked like the table in the rv and the screen I was sent didnt quite fit, it appears that they take parts from the other RVs on the lot so if you are thinking of taking your rv here for consignment, dont because things will probably go missing. ( I also noticed that the people who posted positive reviews are people who WORK THERE or are family members of those people )
