  Solid maritime compliance gear, with great service. They have it all, but if not they can order what you need. They also do chart corrections.

  What the average joe off the street has to realize with SafeNav is that they can't be compared to West Marine or some other consumer/pro-sumer type establishment. They are a commercial chart and publication supplier that caters primarily to shipping companies that are on an IMO certified subscription service or require professional supplies. They might not have superior customer service and their prices are at the top of the range, but if you're looking for something particular they probably have it or can get it.

  I walked into this store to look at clocks for a birthday gift at 9:40 on 8/20/2014. The store had a few people in it - couldn't tell if they were customers or staff. There was a man sitting at a desk, so I assumed he was an employee. I spent five minutes walking around the show cases looking at the clocks. Not once in those five minutes did the man behind the desk look up or acknowledge me in any way.What's with this store? Is my Visa/MC not good on Pine Avenue? Is it profiling - an older woman? Are they not interested in new customers or making sales? It does say "gifts" on their window? Maybe this store is so successful that it doesn't need any random sales. Good thing, as I will never walk in there again!
