  SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH in the Putnam Lake hamlet in the Town of Patterson is a small family oriented, kid-friendly place to worship and practice the Catholic faith. On Good Shepherd Sunday (April 22, 2018 this year), Lois the sheep comes to visit. She brings joy and awe to the children - and great family photo ops for their parents - and everyone has a better understanding of the Bible story about "Jesus the Good Shepherd." It's a small parish that does BIG things - you won't get lost in the crowd.

  I've been a member of this church for over 20 years. My daughter was baptised and received her First Holy Communion here. It is a small parish but it's big on community and love. I am now a member of the choir. I love it. My 12 year old is an Altar Server. She also plays on the CYO basketball team for the past three years. there are many social event and spiritual ones too. It's one big family. The love overflows.
