::Devon is a top tier artist, with a studio to match. After inquiring about my tattoo, Sacred Crane Tattoo kindly followed up with me and booked me up after a brief consultation. Despite the downtown location, parking was offered up and the building is easy to access. Devon was excellent about providing instructions to access her building. The studio space is clean, tasteful, and modern. The soft Japanese accoutrement keeps the studio themed, but not overpowering. A soft scented candle was a nice touch to ground the shop prior to inking. Plenty of room for friends and partners to sit as well. If you have a moment, look at the killer view of the bay from Sacred Crane’s windows. Devon clearly cares about her clients and the work she does for them. Throughout application she would ask about my preferences and comfort. Always asking in a genuine yet understanding tone. She can clearly adapt to her client’s needs, whether you prefer conversation or want to doze off. You feel a difference when your artist cares about you and the work they do. I personally bled quite a bit, but Devon would always clean the area up and work around it. It was time consuming, yet I wasn’t charged it. Serious integrity here. My standard is to get each of my tattoos at a different shop. Only returning for touch ups. However, I’ve found the shop I’ve always been looking for! I would offer the best of luck to Devon, but I will tell her in person when I happily return for my next piece.
