  Rye Library is staffed by friendly, helpful people and their programs provide a wonderful outlet for the people of Rye. I've had one, consistent complaint about the Rye Library since I started coming here two days a week to study and work for my graduate degree: they let children create as much noise as they want in any room they happen to be in. There is no attempt to discipline these kids, or make them leave no matter how disruptive they are to the rest of the patrons. This makes the Rye Library an extremely difficult place to find peace and quiet if you need to work, which is something I think any Library should be committed to.
