::I had a horribly unpleasant experience at this place - mainly due to the owner. The owner, Mike Camacho, has a talent for making you feel cheap and poor. I went with a group of friends to this bar yesterday around 9:30 PM. We mainly came to enjoy some tasteful music; however, we did not expect to be ambushed by the over suspecting owner, who demanded that we get out if we did not want to buy a drink. Needless to say, his words were unkind and his tone was rude. While I do understand his point, I did not expect to be spoken to in a way that was belittling. His condescending tone and over expressive body language only begins to show the level of discomfort I felt when interacting with this discourteous man. I immediately no longer felt appreciation for the music, but instead I wanted to leave. My friend additionally made an attempt to politely inform him of his ill-mannered way of speaking, but he refused to acknowledge our presence. Personally, I cannot fathom how anyone can work with or for this distasteful man. I must warn you: if you wish to be humiliated then yes, you will receive exactly that by visiting this bar!

::This place is amazing. Even more so on a Monday evenings for the jazz/poetry meet. Very chill, social, creative crowd!

::Great jazz. Drinks are overpriced outside of happy hour. Awesome spot for live music. If you're in the area worth checking out.

::Rue B is a place that I always feel at home. Great jazz, hip clientele, innovative drink menu, and friendly staff. The owner, Michael, makes everyone feel welcome.

::This is a nice low key place in Brooklyn. The place is very small and cosy. I recommend getting there before 9pm which is when the live music starts if you want to get a seat. The live jazz band was really good on the night we went and the happy hour cocktails were nice but there wasn't much of a variety which was a shame. The person who was serving us was really lovely however the service was abit slow which is why they are not getting 5 stars. They need to get more people serving as they had one girl looking after all tables! Which is no wonder it was slow.I would recommend this place for a date or small gathering with friends. Everyone tends to leave after the music stops which is at 12
