  This is a truly stellar motel. The night before, we had stayed somewhere awful and this was just a breath of fresh air. The owner takes great pride in his hotel being well maintained. It made such a difference. As of June 2015, everything has been recently refurbished. As a result, everything was both clean and nice. The bed was excellent and the rooms are spacious. More than that, even though there was some annoying event on in town that we weren't even there for, he is the only one who didn't hike up his prices. He told us he relies on regulars and just charges the same thing no matter what. I have such appreciation for that. The Best Western down the road wanted to charge nearly double what he was charging. Anyway, comfortable, good location, well maintained, nice owner. I highly recommend this hotel as someone who has stayed in about a dozen hotels in the last couple of weeks. It was easily one of the best in terms of value and overall experience.

  My boyfriend and I stayed there and the first night I got bit by something and didn't know until the next morning when my finger was swollen and whole arm was itchy so I thought it was a spider then my boyfriend wanted to stay another night and soon as we layed down a HUGE BEDBUG came out of nowhere and my boyfriend killed it. I told the owner he refused to return any of my money and just kept denying it smh. We checked out immediately and got a room at the casino. Room 5 was very clean and looked nice so who would of thought they had a bed bug problem. My advice is find another motel or a good hotel would be your best bet. Bed bugs are not worth it since they can stick to your clothes and go home with you.
