  My family most recently used the services of the Roy L Gilmore Funeral home to lay my father to rest January 2017. The funeral director and owner Angela Manning and her staff were exceptionally thoughtful and professional during a very difficult time. They were very patient with walking us through the steps of choosing the best way to say farewell to our father. They were very accommodating of special requests and showed so much compassion to our family and guests. The building and parking are very well maintained and the areas for viewing and services are nicely furnished. On the day of the viewing, our event went over the scheduled time and the staff were very kind about giving mourners a little extra time to pay respect and gently ushering everyone out. We visited another nearby funeral home prior to going to Gilmore and the customer service was much more inferior with little compassion. The prices were also higher at the other funeral home. I have attended services for close family members at Roy Gilmore's in the past and was had a positive experience previously also. I HIGHLY recommend this funeral home.
