  The best Italian bread, even better than the bread in Italy. Seriously get yourself a black olive bread or a seeded semolina you won't regret it. I moved away from Astoria years ago and still come here for the bread it's that good.

  This place is my childhood and probably has the best bread in the world. I was born and grew up in Astoria and always used to come here to get semolina bread and sprinkle cookies. Now I'm a college student out of state, but before I head over to LaGuardia I always stop by to grab some bread so I have something to remind me of home. I've been all over Europe and the world and I've yet to find bread better than what's at Rose and Joe's.
