  I enjoyed a short hike there (March 2018). It was lovely and nice, I put 4 not 5 because the water faucet was broken.

  Easy 2-mile hike through the woods on an island in the middle of DC. Also the location of the Teddy Roosevelt Memorial interesting

  Definitely worth visiting and walking around! We had four deer walk in front of us.

  A fun little island to explore and it's so close to the city. Great for dropping through on your run or visiting with the family for a few hours.

  Chose a cold and rainy day to check out the island but it was fun having it all to myself! Hard to do in DC! The bathrooms were closed so that might be an issue for some. Lots of parking. And the trails were all nicely cared for. Easy walk for kids! Definitely looking forward to go back in warmer weather!
