::I never shopped here before but was interested in 2 items in last week's auction. They were excellent to deal with for auction registration, condition reports, and phone bidding. The items were shipped the next day and were packaged very well.I am a very happy customer.

::I e-mailed them about a piece to sell and got a prompt response. I had additional questions and sent them as a followup. They never responded, so I re-sent them. Still no response 1 month later. Not good customer service.

::My problem wasn't with customer service, but rather their failure to stand behind an item they sold. I purchased a piece of art through their auction and when it arrived it had damage that the pictures did not reveal and the description did not note. I phoned to ask about options, but was told that I didn't have any. Essentially, they do not guarantee what they sell at auction. It's a buyer beware situation. I've used many auction sites, including eBay, Heritage, RR, and so on. This is the first time an auction house has refused to stand behind their product. It's pretty disappointing, because the damage with this piece is significant and now I'm stuck with it. They offered to sell it again for me, but I don't feel comfortable duping someone else into it while Ro collects a second buyers premium. I won't be working with them again. There are better auction sites that actually take care of their customers and protect you from things like this. I'd suggest you avoid Ro unless you see something in person and thoroughly inspect it. For my part, this was a $400 lesson.
