::You're making a huge mistake if you hire Rock Vine Masonry. We hired Bob to remodel our backyard with new concrete and paving stones around our pool area in May of 2017. The project took over 10 weeks with Bob and his workers arriving some days, working just an hour or two at others and some days just not showing up at all. Bob "miscalculated" cost of materials in his original quote, would not stand up to it and we ended up paying the additional cost out of pocket. The project was messy - permanent concrete splatters all over our garage doors, upended blue stone in the driveway, smashed a drainage pipe, installed backyard lighting shorts out, ruined grass, concrete splatters all over installed paving stones, on backyard fencing, on and on. Fast forward to January 2018, the concrete is cracked, in some places over 25 feet long, separating from the paving stones (you can no longer open our back gate as the concrete surface has raised so high), concrete is crumbling in other areas. Six months after being put in. Bob's response? It must have been an earthquake, he has been in this business a long time and knows his stuff and it was without question an earthquake. Guess who Bob says needs to pay to have this fixed since he is "not at fault"? Yours truly. Do yourself a favor and please learn from our mistakes; avoid this headache we have inherited by choosing the wrong mason for the job.
