::A little pricey for the bowls, but I normally always ask them to put a little more of granola - otherwise they give you a little bit... the staff here are very nice! Just think that the açai shouldn’t be too sweet.. the only place around in Stamford but I like it!!!! I go at least 2-3 times a week 😁

::This Robeks location is poorly run as an establishment in general and compared to the other Robeks in Stamford (High Ridge location). This location is close to my home and has late hours (closes at 9 and opposed to 6 for the High Ridge location) so I have attempted to order from them with limited success. Reoccurring issues are as follows: 1) Untrained staff : The staff have difficulty placing and order and then creating that order. They need significant repetition of an order or may need the customer to check up on them thought out the process to make sure additional items are placed in the mix. They create an order at a reduced speed (compared to their High Ridge competitor). They have difficulty with transactions such as applying gift cards and coupons. For example, I provided a gift card and coupon to the staff, who only used the gift card. After I paid, I noticed the coupon didn't apply, and when I asked why he didn't use it he said he didn't realize what it was and said "well i already placed the order and you paid". I said I wanted to use it as it expires soon. He didn't seem to know how to reverse the transaction and there was no manager around so I gave up. 2) Products are sloppy: lids are not placed on secure, bowl consistencies can be VERY soupy, items can be missing from bowls or protein not added to a smoothie 3) Unsupervised staff: There does not seem to be a manager frequently supervising in the later afternoon and evening. The young staff have difficulty addressing complaints. For example, I placed an oder in the store for two bowls, after a longer process helping the cashier manage a gift card/coupon situation, I received the bowls in a bag and walked to my house. It was 20 degrees out and I live 5 minutes away. When I got home I noticed the bowls were soup (a reoccurring problem). I called the store and asked to speak to a manger and the staff member (a teenage male) said there was not a manager but he was the "staff in charge". I explained to him the situation and asked if I should come back. He said I could not return because I already left. I explained I had been gone 5 minutes and i did not see the product before I left as he bagged it. I also mentioned I noticed the staff struggling with the order and wondered who was helping her. He said I (the customer) should have checked the order. I asked where his accountability lied in managing his staff and he "shouldn't have to watch staff make an order" cand this was getting "annoying". I told him I was sorry he felt that way and wondered what he wanted to do about it. I suggested he take a note and have his supervisor call me. He then told me "you could have come back but now you have been talk ing to me so you can't". I reminded him he started by telling me he I couldn't come back. The staff member seemed very confused and lost. He said if i come in "when he works he can give me free bowls" and "does that fix it?" He was clearly not ready to be left in charge and this is a reflection on the management. 3) lack of fresh produce for bowls several hours before closing limiting their menu options 4) Questionable policy: When you add protein to a smoothie you pay extra for the exact amount you choose to add. This increases the volume of the mix. If you order a small size with protein, the mix will not all fit in the small cup, however, the customer has pad for the exact amount of protein. The mixture that is left in the blender is not given to you if you request it. They said its against policy. This does not make sense as a significant portion of the protein you paid for is not left in the blender. If they are selling a 1 gram of protein for a given price it seems unfair that 1/4 of that protein scoop should be left in the blender. My husband adds 5 scoops and a lot of what he pays for is left behind. There are better places to get similar products but as they are close to my home I hope they can improve their service, products, and policies and I can return.

::DO NOT order online (grub hub) from this Robeks! Their food is good in the store but twice we have tried ordering online and they have forgotten drinks (one drink for one order and three for another!) When I called to complain and ask them to bring the forgotten items (per the manager they were never made, not forgotten by the driver) I was told they cannot refund me and cannot deliver missed items. I was told they would make it and we could come pick it up but it might be a while because "they were very busy". I explained both times that we order a large order from a work place where we cannot leave in the middle of a shift but they didn't care and were not concerned that we were charged for items they couldn't provide. Just don't order because they will mess up, not refund you, and are rude on the phone.
