  We would eat here again. Totally. Loved our polite professional server. We had the guacamole and chips which were really good. All very fresh and chips were crisp and thin. I had blue cheese wedge and my friend had the spinach chicken Waldorf salad. The Menu looked great but it was 10pm. So we just ate salads. Hopefully next time. We are in town we will come back!!

  Excellent food, excellent service. Ordered the mixed greens salad and ‘spit’ chicken. So delicious!!! Reasonably priced; great atmosphere. Great music.

  I’ve lived in Austin for a decade and know most all its better downtown spots. With that in mind, I can confidently report Roaring Fork to be one of the most reliably great restaurants this city has to offer. Excellent “contemporary comfort food”, attentive (but never annoyingly so) service, and a rich yet comfy atmosphere that looks as beautiful in the day as it does at night. Oh, and the Green Chile Pork is absolutely to die for!

  This is one of my favorite places in Austin. Last time, although we went there without reservation, they accommodated us (5 members!) in a individual room. It was really welcoming no cell service on top of the great meal. Lamb chop is outstanding so highly recommended for everyone to try.

  The cozy atmosphere and fire place is a nice welcome. Feels like a place where regulars frequent that work downtown. The steaks here are fantastic. My favorite must have is the green chili pork and tortillas. The BLT wedge is also wonderful. Service is polite and fast too.
