    RMS was timely -accomodating and professional! Two guys arrived and wrapped my furniture and loaded it on rhe truck. Once we arrived to my apt. they set up my beds and sofas just as I requested! i know this company will be handling all my moving for a Sunday 5/27/18 @9am and was done by 11am..RMS Movers provide 100% Satifaction Garantee....     DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! 1 STAR IS TOO MANY!! So, I'm not sure where to begin...we've had NUMEROUS issues with our move! I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied and clearly frustrated by this entire situation. Originally, I had requested the 2-man crew as I was quoted for $95 / hour on Thumbtack, while RMS contacted me directly noting the rate had suddenly increased to $100 / hour - should have been an indication of things to come, but I continued with the process. After briefly discussing the item list (which I made clear was simply a rough estimate as I was not even home to survey the items), RMS suggested the 3-man crew, while I requested the largest truck possible in order to reduce costs and ensure the job would be completed within one day, but something was re-routed at the distribution center and we only received 2-men w/ some mid-size rental truck from U-Haul. As it turns out, we really needed that extra set of hands - it took them nearly twice as long and several trips to complete the job. Additionally, since the truck was unavailable as requested our crew had to rent a seemingly MUCH smaller U-Haul truck for Thursday's job, which forced us to make 2 separate trips to the Public Storage facility (no charge for extra travel due to the truck mishap). Unfortunately, this meant we missed the closing time for Public Storage...therefore, I was forced to stick around from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM awaiting their return to allow entry. Since it was so late, the crew simply began throwing stuff into the unit without any sense of organization, which required a complete re-arrangement upon arrival of the remaining items...on top of everything, we were still unable to grab all of our necessary items and I had to wait until TUESDAY morning in order to finish the move!! RMS had ASSURED me there would not be any additional cost to finish the move, but then I come to find out that an ENTIRE new move would need to be set-up...fresh with all of the wonderful fees associated with it (such as, $100 Travel Time Fee), while I was told we would figure it out after the claim had been submitted! Then, things became exponentially more frustrating as I was unable to receive any response from RMS Movers on Friday or Saturday regarding the remaining schedule!! Also, thanks to having to wait until TUESDAY to finish the job, it was pouring rain and having to re-arrange the disorganization of their first attempt caused many of my belongings to get ruined by the downpour! In total, I'd estimate this mishap has cost me nearly $775 without even factoring in damaged goods due to rain and lack of consideration during unloading...ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! RMS Movers did not take responsibility for ANY of these issues!! Claims were filed with RMS Movers, but closed for no apparent reason. Detailed timeline of events were provided - yet company chose to cherry-pick tidbits of the situation, while ignoring major issues along the way and has since ceased correspondence as I can no longer reach anybody within the organization. It's an absolute scam! BUYER BEWARE!!

    I strongly recommend letting the company do a site visit for the estimate if it is a large move. Clients usually get the details wrong when trying to describe the details over the phone for an estimate. RMS was very fair with their pricing and professional. I've already recommended them to friends and family with great results.

    RMS movers did a fantastic job with our move from Arlington to Dallas. We even had to stop at our storage unit to swap some things out including a full size washer and dryer and they completed it without a hitch. It was only two men, Bryan and Charles, they did the work that should have been for three men, just between the two of them. They packed up all our stuff safely and professionally. The move took longer than it should have but those guys didnt slow down for one minute. They truly cared about trying to get the job done in a timely manner despite only having two of them to complete it. Professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again. As long as they give Bryan and third man!

    Our schedule move time was 3pm. Only to get phone calls saying they'll be there in an hour and then another and then another hour. They didn't arrive until 7pm! That's when our move should've ended. The movers also broke one of our lamps, which they said it was left at the old apartment. We have camera footage from our building from 3 angles of this. We don't understand why they would lie. When we got to the new apartment, there was only one mover unloading our items, the others 2 could have been bringing things up our stairs. I'm pretty sure that this is why the move took an extra hour...which we were charged for. It took so long that they just ended up dumping everything in our living room and we had to move the rest ourselves to our rooms. The move didn't end until around 12:30am...the next day!!! There were 3 men in my living room that wouldn't leave until I paid...I felt unsafe and paid via credit card in hopes to have their office later take care of the issues that took place... On top of the punctuality issue, we are missing 2 pieces of wall art, and my couch is torn on 2 sides! I paid extra for packing materials and they didn't wrap my couches to protect them. One of the paintings is huge! You can't leave it anywhere without noticing. Their marketing even says "moving made easy". It wasn't. The late move caused us to go back to our old apartment the next day to clean. I emailed multiple times asking for someone to respond to these issues and no one responded. I called the business and finally got to talk to someone... I requesting a refund or at least discount for our missing items and damaged items. Told me to fill out a claim form, which won't do anything because the insurance they offered was 30 cents per article. Such a crooked business! I didn't get a receipt for the service but instead I noticed they wrote down a price into a space for the agreement that the move told me was to start the service. Do NOT use them!! Will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
